I assist authors in polishing and refining their manuscripts into viable, polished stories. I believe in the power of story, and am an out-and-proud book geek. I am very, very good at what I do (what, you want to hire someone who doesn’t believe wholly in their abilities?!): developmental editing, substantive editing and copyediting. I specialize in the paranormal, fantasy and romance genres, although I work with authors in other markets. I’m also a really Type-A researcher, academically trained in methodologies, and a meticulous fact-checker with a wide variety of specialized knowledge in my geeky brain!
I also write content that gets you or your business noticed: articles for print or web publication, blog posts, essays, articles, direct mailings, social media copy, white papers, press releases, newsletters, et. al. Academic or business writing, snarky pop culture bits, I can switch tones and write serious or seriously funny, and rock both styles. Need a piece on organizing your kitchen, a white paper analyzing a trend in your industry or a web copy for your zombie apocalypse survival site? Mad varied skills: I have them.
I also write truly excellent résumés and cover letters for a wide range of professions, having worked in that field post-graduate school.
